Vocal Performance with Anita Burleson

There is a voice inside of each of us that is unique, inspired and longing to be heard. The LB Productions Vocal Performance Workshop is for beginning to intermediate singers who want to be authentically confident while singing on stage. The class will use fun exercises and singing techniques to help you break into song! All participants will be invited to sing at a cozy, casual
showcase at the end of the course. Ages 16+ invited to attend.

Anita Burleson: International Vocal Coach and Playwright
Anita is an alumni of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and a singer/songwriter who studied with the world-renowned teacher to the stars, Seth Riggs. Anita enjoyed a career as a professional singer/actress performing in Las Vegas, L.A., Europe, Japan, on cruise ships and played a role in DREAMGIRLS with members of the Broadway cast.

In 2006 Anita wrote and produced her first musical and became hooked on empowering others to reach their potential. Anita founded LB Productions in 2012 while living in British Columbia, Canada. With a focus on empowering youth through theatre, LB Productions worked with children in schools, the Ministry of Health, First Nations Bands, and with the children of the Canadian Military. LB Productions continues to teach children and adults internationally, helping them find their voice and “Let their Light Shine!”

$125 (5 classes plus optional showcase!)

Mondays: SEPT 8, 15, 22, 29 & OCT 6

6:30 – 8 pm

OPTIONAL SHOWCASE: SATURDAY, OCT 11th 7 pm
