Be a part of the live recording!

Lawn Chair Kings will play a night of original music at the Sunflower Theatre. There will be a live recording of this performance that will be release in some form in 2020 that will feature electric and acoustic instrumentation.

Justin Richert makes his debut with the band on lap steel, guitar, and drums. Patrick Dressen will play acoustic guitar, in addition to drums and vocals. Dan Leek (bass, vocals) and Erik Nordstrom (guitar, vocals) have been playing variations of Americana, cow-punk, folk, and western garage music in SW Colorado since 2000.

Special Guest

Dale X Allen, guitar slinger of Geniune Cowhide and The Moetones fame, will also join the party. Please join us for a celebration of local original music at the Sunflower Theatre.

The Lawn Chair Kings have been on the Durango, CO music scene since 2000. They have celebrated a “western garage” flavor, with country, rock, pop, and punk influences. Known for their catchy tunes and good-time performances, Lawn Chair Kings have been a steady force in the Four Corners Region.  Lately, The Lawn Chair Kings have morphed from garage rock to alternative country to bluegrassy Americana in their 17-year career. Quite simply, they’re the best bar band in town. Check out their new line up:
