Gary Farmer and The Troublemakers is a band that has been shaking things up with their rockin’ blues sound since 2005. Farmer, who is from the Cayuga Nation and Wolf Clan of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy), has made his living as an actor in theater, film and television, appearing in “Powwow Highway,” “Dead Man,” “Smoke Signals” and others. Joining forces with Jaime Bird Yellowhorse (bass and vocals), Jamie Russell (drums), and Nathan Duchampe (guitar), Farmer digs in deep to entertain with his voice and harmonica.

“The band’s sound has grown immensely over the years: the breadth and diversity of the material, the writing and producing of the original content,” Farmer said. “The continuing development of the band and its members reminds me of how Los Lobos is more of a family. That’s how I feel about The Troublemakers. They come and go. Troublemakers have to do that. It’s a way of life.”

Joining the Troublemakers this time is Bruce “Iron Eyes” Maybee, formerly of the bands Peace Pipe Mafia, Orion, Pleaser, Accused, and currently of Iron Eyes Blues Band.
